Guide is a mobile application designed to get more people outside doing what they love. Users are able to find other experienced people that can guide and give advice on upcoming adventures.

After conducting research interviews with various groups, primarily focusing on the target demo, I was able to narrow concepts down to several effective design structures. All of the designs were then created in Adobe Illustrator and XD.

Acuitus Ag is software developed to help farmers around the world increase operational efficiency. The software is designed to help do things such as track truck loads, monitor crop yields, and provide custom analytics.

Double L Machine Controls

Double L began the redesign of their machine control interfaces with the goal of becoming much more consistent and user friendly. One of the biggest goals of this particular project was to identify any pre-existing usability issues and determine how to fix them in the next iteration of the UI.

the process & key achievements

As one of the primary designers at Double L, I worked on a team with over 8 engineers and several product managers. I support design across every aspect of our business and am responsible for leading UX and UI across key parts of different machine controls.

 

  • Created a design kit. This has helped maintain consistency in the look and feel across different machine controls.

  • Implemented a design process. This has helped our team establish more structure in how we execute specific tasks as well as increase efficiency.

  • Improved usability. Improving usability is one of our primary focuses. To achieve this we strived to understand user goals and needs.
